2013 State Baby Facts and Rally4Babies: Get Your State’s Baby Facts into State Policymakers Hands
This just in from Zero to Three’s Take Action! Be a BIG VOICE for Little Kids campaign:
Have you ever heard the expression “let the facts speak for themselves?” Well, when it comes to advocating on behalf of babies, toddlers, and their families, ZERO TO THREE has the facts you need to speak out.
ZERO TO THREE’s State Baby Facts are individual fact sheets for each of the 50 states and the District of Columbia, which present easy-to-use data about the status of infants and toddlers. The facts about young children in your state tell an important story that YOUR policymakers at every level of government need to hear as they make funding decisions about early childhood programs and services.
You can Rally4Babies by getting your state’s Baby Facts into the hands of your state’s policymakers! Important policy decisions are being made on Capitol Hill and the annual appropriations process is underway to determine the level of funding for early learning and child/family programs. However, your state’s Baby Facts are not just for Members of Congress– use them in your advocacy with state legislators and make sure they have all the facts.
Below is a list of the State Baby Facts bitly links by state, so you can send your state’s Baby Facts electronically.
